An Ex's view

My ex has kept up with me on this story from start to finish. He finally read it and I think I got my best review ever from him.

Oh, baby I just finished reading your story, and I’m sorry I had wait so long to do it. It is a wonderful piece, and has grown and deepened in this longer version. If the draft was more plot-driven, this one is more character-centered and I get a much fuller portrait of Sarah. What a woman! Sexy, feisty, independent –yes, of course, but now I see more of her as a widow, a mother, and finally a grandmother. And she holds onto all this with full awareness of the social limitations of her time (that is pretty radical.) Thank you for writing it, for sharing it and for touching me once again. F
